Laura Teglio

I was born in Italy (Genoa). Graduated from art school in my hometown.

Then I lived in London for several years,where I learned to appreciate antiques and old books, having worked in these sectors throughout my stay in England.

Later I moved to Florence for four years ( Palazzo Spinelli and Opificio delle pietre dure) where I obtained the certificate for the restoration of antiques paintings on canvas and wood, and the art of leaf-gilding.

I’ve been involved in restoration for 25 years now, and it continues to fascinate me…

I gathered these skills in a shop/ laboratory in the historic center of Genoa , where my creations take shape

Nasco in Italia a Genova . Diplomata al liceo artistico nella mia città di origine. Poi ho vissuto a Londra diversi anni dove ho imparato ad apprezzare l’antiquariato e i libri antichi avendo lavorato in questi settori per tutta la mia permanenza in Inghilterra.

Successivamente mi sono trasferita a Firenze (Opificio delle pietre dure, Palazzo Spinelli) per 4 anni dove ho conseguito attestato di addetto al restauro di dipinti su tela e tavola e doratura a foglia.

Mi occupo di restauro ormai da 25 anni e continua ad affascinarmi…ho raccolto queste competenze in un negozio/laboratoio nel centro storico di Genova dove le mie creazioni prendono forma.
